Die Hard

In 1988, John McTiernan followed up his action-packed blockbuster Predator with a less sci-fi, but just as action packed Christmas Classic Die Hard.  Bruce Willis successfully moved from prime-time television to the big screen, drastically going from romantic comedy Blind Date to act as a New York cop fighting terrorists at Nakatomi Plaza.  Met with mixed reviews from critics and a decent box office take, this movie now ranks highly with fans and critics alike as an all-time best Christmas movie, which is odd considering the non-stop action.  But does it hold up?  Listen as Jon, Colin and first-time viewer Josh look at the movie floor by floor and see if Die Hard blows the roof off the building with some awesome action and Christmas cheer, or if the terrorists overcome inconvenient timing, ever confident FBI guys, and a rogue cop to disappear with the negotiable bearer bonds to sit on a beach earning 20%, and forever soiling our memories of this Christmas classic.
